Celebrating 70 Years of Excellence: Malaysia Watch Trade Association Marks a Historic Milestone
Malaysia Watch Trade Association (MWTA) recently celebrated a momentous occasion—its 70th anniversary. This grand event brought together over 470 guests, including dignitaries, industry leaders, and MWTA members, in a fitting tribute to seven decades of excellence in the watch industry.

A Night of Celebration and Reflection
The celebration began with a lively cocktail reception at 6:00 pm, where guests were greeted with warm hospitality and a festive atmosphere. The highlight of the opening was an exhilarating 24 Festive Drums performance, a traditional display of rhythmic energy and precision. The powerful beats and synchronized movements of the performers captivated the audience, setting an electrifying tone for the night ahead. This vibrant performance served as the perfect introduction, marking the official start of the evening’s program and creating an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation for the events to follow.

Organizing Chairman Chris Wan delivered the keynote speech, highlighting the MWTA’s 70-year legacy and the significant contributions of its members to Malaysia’s watch industry.
